At Brickway Brewery & Distillery, we believe every drink has the power to elevate a moment—whether you're celebrating, commiserating, or commemorating. That purpose guides everything we do, and it’s printed on every can, bottle, and pour we share.

Our story began with a simple yet powerful realization: beer and spirits can bring people together in both the best and worst of times. That belief inspired us to combine deep roots in microbiology, chemistry, and a master’s education in brewing and distilling with a desire to create something meaningful in the heart of Omaha’s Old Market.

After navigating red tape and a government shutdown, we finally opened our doors on December 13, 2013. We started with just a few staple beers; a Pilsner, Hefeweizen, India Pale Lager, and Oatmeal Stout. Now, nearly a decade later, we proudly and locally produce dozens of beers and 13 distinct spirits, earning more than 20 medals along the way and becoming Nebraska’s most awarded distillery.

We distill using custom-designed copper pot stills that emphasize purity, flavor, and balance. Our spirits are bold enough to shine in cocktails and refined enough to sip neat. Our beer is packaged in aluminum cans to ensure quality and freshness—and because cans are a more sustainable choice for the environment.

We're committed to doing things the right way. That means creating products with authenticity, integrity, and versatility—being dedicated to the craft and humbly confident in what we make. It also means showing up for our community. Over the past decade, we’ve donated over $100,000 worth of beer and spirits to support local charities. During the height of the COVID-19 pandemic, we even shifted operations to produce and donate 10,000 gallons of hand sanitizer, serving hospitals, first responders, and anyone who needed it. Beyond our neighborhood, we’re honored to support global initiatives through organizations like Global Partners in Hope, which provide clean water and medical access to communities in Africa.
